Of course. The Little House books were among my favorites for years when I was a kid. They're very enjoyable. Not a particular fan of the TV series though.

I've read them all, too. You can get them in braille from the Library fo Congress.
I loved them growing up. I was raised in SD where she lived for awhile and visited De Smet a couple of times.

Agreed, I think the books are way better than the TV show. I read most of the books when I was younger, and the two I didn't get to read then, I read a few years ago just out of curiosity. I've always liked those books.

Strangely, I didn't get into the Little House books when I was younger, like most people do. I thought they were boring. But then I read them in my early 20's, and all of a sudden I liked them, even though they're technically considered children's lit. I guess it took more of an adult mind to appreciate a lot of the beauty in them. However, like many of you, I have never liked the TV show at all.
